The following documentation is for Autopoll installations versions V3-V3.5-V4 on computer with Windows 7 or lower.
* Eine Autopoll-Netzwerk-Version wird erforderlich, wenn die Autopoll Datenbank und die Autopoll Anwendung örtlich getrennt laufen oder Autopoll in einer Terminalserver-Umgebung eingesetzt oder Autopoll mit Hilfe von Remote-Desktop-Verbindungen ausgeführt werden soll.
* An Autopoll network version is necessary if the Autopoll database and the Autopoll program shall run on separate computers or if Autopoll shall be installed in a terminalserver infrastructure or Autopoll shall be executed via remote desktop connections.

* Vor der Bestellung muss mit dem Kunden abgeklärt werden, wo die Autopoll-Datenbank installiert wird, auf wie vielen Computern ein Autopoll-Client installiert und ob auf dem "Server" auch ein Autopoll-Client installiert werden soll, wie viele Benutzer gleichzeitig sich im Autopoll anmelden wollen/müssen etc.
* Before ordering an Autopoll network version it should be clarified and discussed with the customer how the Autopoll shall be installed (database location, connectivities server-clients), how many users shall work in Autopoll at the same time and if the card readers are available from server and clients.
* Die Erstinstallation muss als Voll-Administrator durchgeführt werden.
* The initial Autopoll installation has to be executed as full-administrator.
* Läuft auf dem Computer bereits ein Interbase Datenbankserver und/oder ein 64-bit Firebird Datenbankserver, ist eine Autopoll Installation im Moment nicht möglich. Sollte bereits ein 32-bit Firebird Datenbankserver laufen, bitte Kontakt mit der Autopoll Hotline aufnehmen, zwecks Unterstützung ob und wie Autopoll installiert werden kann.

In einer Autopoll Netzwerk-Version ist es sehr wichtig, dass jeder Client eine eigene Clientnummer in der APVx.INI erhält. Grund dafür sind die Autopoll Funktionen [[Aktionspläne_Scheduler | "geschedulte Aktionspläne"]] und der [[TAAbrufNetzwerk | "Abruf der Tankautomaten"]], die clientabhängig durchgeführt werden.

Preamble

  • An Autopoll network version is necessary if the Autopoll database and the Autopoll program shall run on separate computers or if Autopoll shall be installed in a terminalserver infrastructure or Autopoll shall be executed via remote desktop connections.
  • The licensed number of clients in Autopoll defines the number of users working at the same time (parallel) in Autopoll, not on how many client computers Autopoll can be installed.

Requirements

  • Before ordering an Autopoll network version it should be clarified and discussed with the customer how the Autopoll shall be installed (database location, connectivities server-clients), how many users shall work in Autopoll at the same time and if the card readers are available from server and clients.

In an Autopoll network version it is absolutely important that every Autopoll client installation gets its own client number in the "APVx.INI"-file.
